“…verily I say unto you, inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.” Matthew 25:40
Purpose: This program is designed to give our members opportunities to perform Christian duties for members of our congregation, community, and any others of which we are aware.
Reason: This program provides a means for our members to serve God and demonstrate their Christianity to our membership and community.
Why are we involved: We believe that as Christians serve others they will be drawn closer to God and all facets of their Christian life will be improved such as attendance, prayer life, bible study, ect.
How we are involved: We meet at 6pm on one Monday night per month except for the months of June and July. Dinner is served, and then each member chooses an activity in which they wish to participate. Activities offered include, but are not limited to:
- World Bible School
- Men and Women Prayer Groups
- Write cards of encouragement
- Singing for shut-ins, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities
- Special projects such as sewing, food pantry, mail outs, ect
- Bake cookies for shut-ins
- Make desserts for meals
